Established in 2000, the proprietor Barry Croker has over 30 years experience within the industry. We are based in Wells and cover
a 20 mile radius. We specialise in the way we install an excellent product that will add value and enhance

1. How
do I navigate your site? Select a topic from the list at the top of the
website, or from the icons on the homepage, or from the
list at the bottom of the website. You'll then be shown
relevant items from our online shop. The website is full
of products you can buy online, and most of these items
are also available to buy from our Wells shop. Simply
browse the categories and click the picture to see more
details.
Alternatively, if you know what you're looking for, simply
type your search request in the search engine at the top
of the page, i.e. "gutter", and all the gutters
and gutter-related products we have will be displayed.

How do I buy an item? Simply browse our sales catalogue, and when you
have found the item you want, click 'Buy Now' to buy it.
If you plan to buy more than one item, click the 'Add to
Cart' button to place it in your sales basket. Follow this
step for each item you wish to order. You may view your
selected items by clicking the View Cart button in the top
left. When you have finished shopping, click View Cart,
then select Proceed To Checkout.
4. What
if I want to cancel an order? Once you have confirmed your order you will not be
able to cancel the order online. Go to the Contact Us menu to
email us. If the item(s) have already been dispatched, please
go to the T&C menu to view our returns policy.
5. What
happens if an item is out of stock? Once we have accepted your order, the stock is automatically
reserved for you. In the event that we are out of stock of an
item that you have ordered we will contact you by email or telephone
to suggest an alternative item or refund.
Note: If we are out of stock in our shop, we may still have
stock in our warehouse; in this circumstance you will be advised
by email or telephone.
7. Will
my personal information be safe? We only hold the information you give us when you make
an order, plus the history of the orders you have placed with
us and any changes to your personal details. We will never sell,
trade or rent your personal information to any third party.
8. Is
it secure to give my credit card details over the internet? Our site uses industry-standard
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption
of personal information such as your name, address and credit
card details. In this way, information passed between your computer
and us cannot be read in the unlikely event of someone intercepting
it.
10. What
methods of payment do you accept? Payments are processed by through Paypal, who accept
Paypal transactions and most major credit and debit cards, including
MasterCard, Visa, American Express.
11. My
purchase is a gift for someone else; can I send it directly
to their house? We CAN deliver to another address, however to help
prevent credit card fraud the payment system may ask you for
YOUR address to ensure you are the card holder. If you do not
get the option to supply both a billing address AND a delivery
address, please contact us as soon as you place your order to
discuss your alternate delivery arrangements.

Payment Options:
We are pleased
to accept payment by Cash, Cheques, Postal Orders and most
major Credit and Debit Cards. We are able to accept Paypal
as an alternative to credit cards. Cheques or Postal Orders
should be made payable to WELLS PLASTICS. Sufficient time
must be allowed for cheques to clear. If sending cash please
use registered post.
Postal Charges:
No orders
will be dispatched unless appropriate postage fees have
been included. All orders are charged at a flat rate of
£18.00 (£15.00 + VAT) regardless of the quantity
ordered. This applies to England, Scotland and Wales only.
For delivery to other regions please contact us. Credit
and Debit Card orders and orders accompanied by cash or
postal orders will normally be sent out within 48 hours,
subject to item availability. Delivery is usually Mon
- Fri.
Returns:
We will
happily refund or exchange any item purchased from Wells
Plastics. Customers wishing to return goods should notify
us within 14 days if they are not to their satisfaction.
After this period the sale is final. We make a 20% charge
for returns. Returned goods must be returned in exactly
the condition they were supplied original packaging with
all labels still attached. We will refund you in the same
way payment was made. If you are returning an item due to
it not fitting or being unsuitable, you will need to pay
the postage costs to return it to us. We recommend you use
recorded delivery or registered post to return items so
as to cover yourself against loss.

Terms & Conditions
These terms
and conditions of business by Wells Plastics,
of 1 Stream Business Units, Southover, Wells, Somerset,
BA5 1UH (and hereinafter referred to as "Wells Plastics")
apply to any sale of goods made by Wells Plastics to the
Purchaser. These conditions shall form part and govern the
contract of sale and/or work. Acceptance of goods by the
Purchaser shall be deemed to be acceptance by the Purchaser
of these conditions of sale. Any term sought to be imposed
by a Purchaser either in a document or otherwise that conflicts
either, or adds to these conditions is not accepted. No
agent or representative of Wells Plastics has the authority
to vary these conditions unless done so in writing by the
directors of Wells Plastics.
1.
Payment and Price 1.1 All quotations
are given in good faith of the goods or work involved. However
Wells Plastics reserves the right to vary the quoted price
for the goods by upward additions in accordance with market
conditions at the date of actual supply and the purchaser
shall pay such additions in addition to the quoted price.
1.2 Price lists do
not constitute an offer.
1.3 All prices quoted
are inclusive of VAT. Prices will be adjusted accordingly
for any change in VAT Rates.
1.4 All invoices are
due for payment on the date shown on the invoice. Payment
is to be made in Pounds Sterling.
1.5 All overdue accounts
outstanding for 14 days or more shall accrue interest that
will be calculated on a daily basis at the rate of 5% above
the base rate of Lloyds TSB Bank applicable at the time.
1.6 All goods remain
the property of Wells Plastics until paid for in full.
2.
Availability of Goods 2.1 Wells
Plastics shall use its best endeavour to comply with the
date named for despatch and delivery. Such dates are given
and intended as an estimate only and is not to be the essence
of the contract. If, owing to non-availability of the goods
or other causes beyond Wells Plastics' control, Wells Plastics
shall be at liberty to determine the contract or part thereof
by giving notice in writing to the Purchaser.
3.
Property and Risk 3.1 For so
long as any amounts remain owing from the Purchaser to the
Vendor (whether immediately due or not) title to the property
of the goods shall remain with the Vendor and ownership
shall not pass to the Purchaser until the Vendor has received
payment in full.
3.2 In the event of the Purchaser reselling the goods, if
Wells Plastics has not received all amounts owing to it,
the Purchaser shall account to Wells Plastics for the proceeds
of any such sale and meanwhile hold all proceeds of such
sale of such goods upon trust for Wells Plastics until Wells
Plastics has received such amounts in full.
3.3 Wells Plastics shall have the right to trace all proceeds
in accordance with the principles of R v. Hallets Estates
1880 113CH.D96.
3.4 At any time after the due date for payment from the
Purchaser to Wells Plastics, and so long as such amounts
have not been received by Wells Plastics in full, at the
Purchaser's expense, shall have the right to enter the Purchaser's
premises and remove there from all goods which remain the
property of Wells Plastics, in the event of any unpaid invoices.
3.5 Wells Plastics shall reserve the right to reclaim any
goods previously supplied to the value of the unpaid invoice.
4.
Design Variation 4.1 Whilst
Wells Plastics will make every effort to ensure that goods
supplied correspond to, in every respect, with the sample,
specification or description provided as the case may be,
Wells Plastics is not responsible for minor variations in
specification, colour or other design features, and no such
minor variation shall entitle the Purchaser to rescind the
contract or shall be the subject of any claim against Wells
Plastics by the Purchaser.
5.
Claims No liability
for any claim for damage or non-functionality shall be accepted
unless the Purchaser notifies Wells Plastics in writing
within seven days. This period may be extended at the sole
discretion of Wells Plastics where the manufacturer's replacement
exceeds this deadline.
5 .1 No liability for any claim shall be accepted in the
case of goods differing in quantity or description from
the particulars given on the delivery note or invoice unless
the Purchaser notifies Wells Plastics in writing within
forty-eight hours of delivery and the onus is upon the Purchaser
to prove any shortage.
5 .2 In the case of manufacturers who operate direct product
support and returns procedures, the Purchaser accepts an
obligation to process their claim directly through the manufacturer.
6.
Guarantee All goods
are warranted free from manufacturing defect for the period
manufacturers warrantee.
6.1 All workmanship is warranted for 365 days from the date
of invoice, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.
6.2 Goods falling within these periods shall be exchanged,
repaired or credited at the sole discretion of Wells Plastics
except where such failure can be attributed to reasonable
wear and tear or user error or misuse, providing the goods
are returned subject to conditions outlined in clause 7.
6 .3 Unless otherwise stated at the time or purchase, all
goods are warranted on a "back to base" basis. The Purchaser
shall be responsible for all carriage, telephone, postal
and incidental charges incurred during the guarantee period.
7.
Returned goods Wells Plastics
shall not accept goods for credit or rectification unless
such a return has been authorised by the vendor, and that
Wells Plastics receives the goods in stock condition, with
all original packaging.
7.1 Wells Plastics retains the right, at its sole discretion,
whether to accept the return of goods or to issue a credit
note in respect thereof.
7.2 Wells Plastics reserves the right not to issue credit
for goods returned after 30 days from the date of the original
invoice and where such credit is granted the credited amount
shall not exceed the current market value or the invoiced
value, whichever is the lower.
7.3 Wells Plastics reserves the right to charge a restocking
fee of not less than 25% on goods returned for credit that
are not in stock condition, that are not returned complete
with the original packaging, or that have been ordered in
error by the Purchaser.
7.4 All returned goods must be received at Wells Plastics'
premises within the warranty period, irrespective of when
any returns authorisation may have been given.
7.5 The Purchaser shall, unless otherwise stated, be responsible
for the cost of outward and return carriage and insurance
of all goods returned by the Purchaser to Wells Plastics.
The onus of proof of such delivery shall rest with the Purchaser.
7.6 All goods returned to the Vendor by pre-arrangement
and found to contain no fault shall be subject to a 25%
restocking charge, providing the goods are in original stock
condition. Any variation of this restocking charge shall
be at the sole discretion of the Vendor.
7.7 No credit shall be allowed for goods until they have
been received complete and tested by the Vendor.
8.
Consequential loss 8.1 The extent
of the liability of Wells Plastics to the Purchaser for
any default or breach whatsoever and howsoever arising shall
in no case exceed the invoice value of the goods and the
Vendor shall in no circumstances be liable to the Purchaser
in respect of any loss or damage including loss of date
whether suffered by the Purchaser or any customer of the
Purchaser and whether direct, inconsequential or however
else arising.
Law If any part
of these terms and conditions should be found to be unlawful
it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the
remainder of the conditions. This contract is and shall
be deemed to been made in England and shall in all respect
be governed by English Law. In respect of consumer sales
only, statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and
conditions.
The contents

brand names and product names used on our site are registered
trade marks or trade names of their respective holders.
